The Hong Kong Society of Robotics and Automation(HKSRA) is an educational nonprofit organizaiton, which aims to connect the global industry of automation and promote progress in the design, research, new technology, manufacture, and application of robotics across the world.
The APCRAS is a global event focused on Robotics and Autonomous Systems. It is a good chance and an effective platform to meet many renowned experts and reseachers in the filed of Robotics and Autonomous Systems. Welcome you to attend the great event.

If you are interested in giving presentation on conference, without publishing your paper in the proceeding, you can choose to attend the conference as a Presenter. 2020 Asia-Pacific Conference on Robotics and Autonomous Systems (APCRAS 2020) will take place virtually during May 25-27, 2020.
As regarding the current unfolding COVID-19 virus, by considering the healthy and safety of all participants, APCRAS 2020 conference organizing committee decided to hold the conference virtually during the same dates May 25-27, 2020. All the accepted and registered papers will be published and sent to be indexed as planned after the conference. Please stay tuned for more information.
APCRAS 2020 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results in the field of Robotics and Autonomous Systems.

APCRAS 2020 is organized by HKSRA.
The APCRAS 2020 conference is now in the process of soliciting submissions of original and innovative papers. Authors are encouraged to submit original and previously unpublished papers. The submitted papers must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
!!!Kindly notice that if you are planning to submit a full paper for publishing, you do not need to submit the abstract firstly, and you can submit the full paper once you finished it.

All the accepted and registered papers of APCRAS 2020 will be published in the digital conference proceedings, which will send to be indexed by all major citation databases such as Ei Compendex, Scopus, CPCI, Google Scholar, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), Inspec, SCImago Journal & Country Rank (SJR), EBSCO, CrossRef, Thomson Reuters (WoS), etc.
Selected papers will be recommended to be published in Journals.

Oral Presentation Guideline
As the most common presentation type, most authors choose to present their paper by oral presentation. For your reference, please find the following instructions for poster presentation:
1, Normally, each presenter will be given 15 minutes (including questions and answers) for his/her oral presentation.
2, The conference organizaiton will provide AV equipment, PC equipped with Microsoft, PDF reader. Please prepare the necessary material about your oral presentation with both PDF and PPT format.
3, After you finish your presentation material, please send it (PDF and PPT) to the conference email box, the conference secretary will help to upload it on the conference computer on site before your presentation.
4, The presenters are allowed to use their own PC to do the presentation, but it is suggested to prepare an adapter, just in case the adapter in the conference room is not suit for your PC.
5, If the presenter want to upload their slides into Conference PC on site, please choose the period of coffee break and lunch, so as to make sure your uploading will not affect other presentations.
6, Each presenter will get a certificate after their presentation.
Poster Presentation Guideline
If you are planning to attend the conference with poster presentation, please find the following brief instructions for your reference:
1, Please prepare your poster in advance with the size of A0(1189mm*841mm).
2, The poster is expected to cover your paper title, author name, affiliation, contacts information, and the conference name. In addition, the most important is about the contents, concise and pointed introduction, logical and clear structure, the convincing and powerful experimental data and sound result. Of course the references will enhance the persuasiveness.
3, The poster presenters will be encouraged to hand in the posters to the conference staffs who will set up it in advance.
4, During the poster session, the presenters should stand by their poster and be ready to answer questions.
5, Each presenter will get a certificate after poster session.
